My IE6 browser never displays background colors, even though it displays images and text colors just fine. I've looked through all the options, and I still can't figure it out. It doesn't show the background color for the pages OR the background colors that I have for certain rows. This computer also has windows xp.

All other computers w/ ie6 or ie5 show the backgrounds just fine.

Any idea what to do? *Suzanne*

first things first. go to internet options> click advanced tab> click "restore defualts" button at bottom of page. click apply then OK. if no good go to add/remove programs and select microsoft IE and click add/remove this will then give you the option to repair. hope it helps ya! Well it still doesn't show background colors after trying both things. We think it might be something with windows XP b/c we have the exact same version of ie on both computers. I'm not too worried about it anymore, just wish I knew how to change it :) *Suzanne*

Just for grins and giggles, look under Accessibility after selecting Tools Internet Options. Make sure that Ignore colors specified on Web pages is not checked.

Thanx but I tried that too. It changed the link colors (like on my site I have green links) but the backgrounds simply don't show up. It's so weird. Don't stress too much over it, but if anyone does find a solution, post away :) *Suzanne*
