IS-IT--Management
We have a user who is on a remote site using VPN to connect to the corporate network and having difficulties connecting to a FTP site using Internet Explorer 6 with sp2.Windows XP Pro SP2. (company issued laptop)
At first , the login screen did not show up, but had this fixed. The main problem is after putting username and password, the IE screen changes to blank gray as if trying to connect but basically stays forever, and eventually displays an error message:
"An error occurred opening that folder on the FTP server.Make sure you have permission to access that folder.Details: operation timed out".
I have checked the enable folder view in IE6, we have contacted the site owners to check permissions tried to connect without VPN, checked micrsoft site, google search etc, repaired Acrobat, all to no avail. User's computer is the only one having this issue, and the wiered thing again is that she can not connect to the ftp site on her personal home computer either.
What else can we possibly try?
Thanks all
