Hi,
I'd like to publish IE6 for all users with MF XPe FR1 and NetWare 6. No domain, no AD.
All users should get the same configuration.
I tried changing settings while being in installation mode (as said in the advanced concepts). But after changing again with 'change user /execute' users did not get the settings I configured.
I know I could use the IEAK but are there any other solutions?
Thanks for your help

If the users have already logged in (and updated their profiles) then this won't work.

Sadly, the only way I've found to get this to work is to do exactly as you have done, then either weed out the IE bits in the users' profiles, or delete them. They will get re-created on login with the new IE settings, but will lose any profile-specific settings they previously had.

I hope this helps

Hi,

thanks for your reply.
I deleted the user's profile in his home directory (TSprofile) and the local stored profile on the W2K Server.
Strange: It works With Word2002 but not with IE6!

Any further hints?

Thank you
