hi all,

I'm running IE6 SP1 on windows 2000.

when downloading from secure sites, I frequently get an error window saying

"this page contains both secure and non secure items. do you want to view the contents now?"

which I believe is due to ie6 timing out. are there settings I can make to the registry to change the timeout length? I can't seem to find the answer quickly on google..

many thanks

M

Rather than timing out, I'd suggest you look into the Security settings...and lower them a notch.
You may also add the sites to the Trusted ones and work around it.
