IE6 as SFTP/SSH Client?

I typically use IE as my FTP client. I need to download files from a server using SFTP/SSH, and would really like to continue using IE as my client rather than downloading yet another 3rd-party FTP client program. Is it possible for me to configure IE to log on to an SFTP/SSH server? Every time I try to log on it just times out.
