I have a client who just got a Broadband connection for her home. Her laptop, running Windows ME, will NOT connect to the Internet. I removed all of her dialup accounts. When I start a command prompt and do an ipconfig /all I see The IP address, DNS , Gateway, all the things I should see. I can ping the gateway and also any from the command prompt. But in IE I get a DNS error message. SHe had IE 5.5 so I upgraded her to 6.0. No Change.
