IE6 and automation error

Everytime I launch IE6 I get a "main automation server can't create object" error and it boots me out of IE6. I am using XP home edition. I have installed that latest patches, service packs, etc. What is this error? Does anybody know how I can fix it?

Control Panel, Internet Options, change your default homepage to something else.
