IE6.0-ZoneAlarm Problems

A few days ago I upgraded to IE 6.0 and find that there are two repeating problems.

first, just after clicking on a link or the back button, I get an error message that says IE has encountered a problem and has to close (including a very polite apology, for what its worth), then all my IE windows close.

The other has to do with ZoneAlarm. If I refresh a browser window or click a link with ZoneAlarm in the locked position (which it does automatically after an interval with no internet activity), IE just spins and spins without executing. All other IE windows open at that time are similarly affected. I have to close all IE windows and start up again before I can complete any attempt to reach a site, refresh etc.

Anyone got any ideas about what is going on? TIA

Odyssey,

I am not sure on the first problem, but as far as with ZoneAlarm, Can you go into ZoneAlarm Control Center and under the lock tab disable the automatic lock. Or set it to a longer time before it locks on you from inactivity so you don't run into the problem.

You get to the Control Center by double-clicking on the ZoneAlarm Icon on the taskbar.
