IE5 Dial-up Connection

I have IE5 , My ISP is NTLWorld. When I run IE5 the browser loads but the dial-up connection box does not appear. It does appear when I try to go to a URL. It connects okay after this. It appears and functions as it should if I connect by running Outlook Express. This was working perfectly well in IE5 and OE before. I don't know what has changed. IE is my default browser.

Check that the homepage is not set to a local file on your hard disk, if it is then IE has no reason to dial out.

In Internet Expolorer, go to Tools>InternetOptions, click the Connections tab, select your default connect, the click the "always dial my default connection" radio button.
