Trying to download a file that is xml. Using IE4 the download box displays and I am able to download file. In IE5 there is no download box because IE5 reads the file and displays it on the browser. How do I stop this from happening?

The question was how do I stop IE5 for displaying the .xml file on the browser when FTP protocol was started. The right click is a work around, does not solve the issue.

XML is a programming language that is built into Internet Explorer. Sort of like html or javascript or css, their really is no way to disable it. I just tested using ftp inside of IE and i had no problem concerning XML. Could you describe the problem a bit more.......
