I noticed that RECETNLY, my IE5.5 would crash under any two of the following circumstances
1) At a site with HTML Form (non JavaScript) where (incidentally) there are two text box fields), as I enter something in one text box and then move to the second text box (using the keyboard or mouse), IE instantly crashes. Whether I entered text in the first or second text box first would cause the same problem
2) Same as 1 but crashes AFTER I clicked the submit button (non JavaScript once again). example would be the login page at
I am running IE5.5 with SP2 on Windows NT workstation 4.0 with SP6a.
Btw, applying Security Patch Q316059 doesn't help to solve the problem either!
