IE5.5: Find by CtlF gives: 'window.DialogArguments.findText' is null/n

Using Windows Internet Explorer 5.5,
When I try to find a stream by Edit,Find I get no reaction;


When I try to search for a stream by Ctl-f I get a:
"MS IE window:

An error has ocurred in this dialog.
Error: 34
'window.dialogArguments.findText'is null or not an object."
the ok button, simply puts me back in the page.

Any ideas why, how to fix this ?
