Everytime I log on my PC (NT 4, SP 6) there is an Internet Explorer window which pops up and on the top I can read something like:

RES: IE4TOUR.DLL WELCOME.HTML then THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.

I tried everywhere to stop it, even on my start programs or services but don't know how to do it.
IE version: 6.0.2600....

thanks,
Fábio

Give this a shot. In internet explorer go into internet options--advanced tab--uncheck the box for 'show welcome message each time I log on' if it's there then ok out and restart the computer.

Too easy...once you know it.
Thanks a lot, it's working now.

Glad it worked. ;) I wasn't sure if that option would be there in IE 6.
