IE11 - Country Problems

Hi,

I'm in the UK, but my computer connects via a US-based server. This often brings up unwanted/irrelevant search results and form autofill results. To complicate matters further, my IP is interpreted by Google as being in Germany! Several websites don't work properly for me because they seem to be stuck in a loop trying to make sense of this conflicting information.

How can I set my IE location to United Kingdom and get it to stay that way?
