IE XP just went strange

For a few days, my version XP2003 IE has been doing something funny.

It seems to be not loading frames on some screens.

And example is

The top and side bars load, and the main area flashes on and then immediately off again, and refresh just flashes it on and off again.

I've got content control off, privacy and security both low.

Any ideas?

The beta IE you are using? (the stand-alone)? Win2003 did not come with other than IE 6.

No - sorry - confused.
Just the ordinary one, but kept updated with MS Updates.

Using Office 2k3 - got confused.
