Hi. I have HP Server running Server2K and on it is IE5.
The trouble is that when I dial in to my ISP via a single isdn line, it connects ok (can ping address ok too) but IE wont display pages at all. It just sits there with a blank (expression!) page. I have also tried different ISP's, and the ISDN line is ok.
Is this an IE problem or is it got to do with server2K???
Thanks Jay~

Does anything happen - any messages - if you enter an url in the address-field ?

I would suggest that you obtain a copy of Internet Explorer 6 on CD and install it on your server. I assume that you have preformed the Internet Explorer set up to the server to the Internet.

Guys,

have discovered that the problem is with SBS 2000, here's how...

I reformatted the PC, installed Server2000 and connected to the ISP and any url. Then thinking the reformat solved the prob, I installed SBS2000 and from then it caused the problem again. I discovered MS articles etc about changing reg values for DNSrecordUpdating etc, but still nothing...
any ideas??

thanks again guys. Jay~
