Just wondering if there was a way to keep IE windows set to open maxmized? (not full screen!!!) Every time I open IE, the window needs to be maximized. If I maximize it then use File/Close... it seems to remember, but if I reboot it gets reset. The only thing that remotely helps is manually resizing to fit the entire screen, then it remembers, however it is still slightly smaller than being maximized!

Thanks in advance

You can set the properties for a shorcut, that may solve the problem....

Right click on the internet explorer shortcut, select properties, in the Run section select 'Maximized', click 'Apply' then 'OK'.

Launcing IE from that shortcut should now start IE maximized.

Does that help?

I tried this and it seems to work fine. I am using Win XP, and I've tried it before in 98, but it wouldn't take. I didn't bother trying in XP. Thanks for your help.
