Hi,

I have IE version 6, and I want to be able to just type one letter of for example my email address, and have it automatically completed (or at least show some options I can tick off instead of having to type the whole email address) - how is this done?

I have one thing ticked off in the advanced tab of "Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Use Inline Autocomplete" but this doesn't work for me

Would anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,
Maisie

click internet options> content tab> auto complete> check auto complete for (your own options)

that should do it for you.

Some people make things happen, some people watch things happen, while others wonder what happened.

Hi,

I tried that and it didn't work - what else can I try?

Thanks,
Maisie

? Why are you putting e-mail addresses into Internet Explorer?

Hi Smah - when filling out forms, I'd like to have my email address autocomplete.

At the moment, I have to type the whole thing over and over again.........eek - too much work

Take a look at roboform. I've used it and it's great.

The answer is "42"

Thanks, Smah, franklin97355 - I'll try both these suggestions
