IE Timout on new LAN dialup connection

We use a DNS sever on our network to connect, Works fine except if a connection is not already established, Internet Explorer will timeout (and display the DNS error page) before the server has time to dial up and connect, and so we have to click refresh to bring up the site.
Is there anyway to get IE to wait longer for a connection.

PS We go onto ADSL in a couple of days, this might fix the problem ??

Yes, ADSL will fix the problem. You could also run a small batch file ahead of launching IE that would ping something like

http://www.cisco.com.

That should trigger the dialer, then you just wait a minute before kicking off IE.
