At work I'm using a machine with WinXP Pro that was used by someone else before me. For some reason the text size in IE (and in some other places) is larger then normal. I have the "text size" set to medium under the "view" menu. If I actually move it to "smaller" it seems pretty close to what the defualt is on any other machines. It seems like the default text size is set larger. Anyone know where to change the default text size?

Have a wheel mouse on the machine?

If so, hold down Ctrl and roll the wheel, adjusting text size.

That just changes the "text size". My problem is the "medium" text size is incorrect. Its bigger than it is supposed to be.

Right click on your desktop and choose properties. Click on the appearance tab. In the bottom you'll find "Font size" - try changing this.

It's set to normal.

Here is an example.

<font size="1">blah blah</font>

shows the exact same as

<font size="2">blah blah</font>
