IE style issue

I created a calendar which has three modes of display:
1. Monthly - everyday of the month has a pale yellow background while the current date has a dark yellow background.

2. Weekly - the current day has a dark yellow background the rest of the week of the current day is pale yellow and the rest of the calendar has a white background

3. Daily - today's date has a dark yellow background and the rest of the calendar has a white background.

This works fine in Firefox, but IE is a different story. In IE the date that should be dark yellow turns dark blue after the modes are switched a few times (e.g. switching from daily view to monthly view, to weekly view). I looked at the source on the site after the color change to make sure the correct background color is still there, and it is. Does anyone have any ideas as to why IE would want to change my bavckground colors?

Thanks,

JW

Have never heard of anything like it. Do you have an online example of this? I would love to see it. Incidentally, which IE version and does your page validate against the doctype you are using?

The only possible thing I can think of (any code issue aside) is that the dark blue is caused by an element being selected when clicking.

When it happens, try clicking on an empty part of the document and see if it goes away.

Hope this helps,
Dan
