IE setup causes page faults

hi all

ok i've 98SE - tryed to upgrade to IE 5.5. after runnin teh setup, immediatly it asks for a reboot - once rebooted i get exprorer caused an invalid page fult in module shdocvw.dll (q311359)

this happens even if i try to install IE 6

any ideas?
