IE Script Error when running Troubleshooter

Win2k. Whenever I run device manager/properties/troubleshooter I get a IE Script error line 11 char 7 (object doesn't support this property or method). The first screen in troubleshooter is ok but as soon as I click next is when the error comes up. This error comes up on all hardware items in device manager
