Is there a way to determine which proxy server IE is using?

My IE7 install at my new workplace is configured using the LAN to automatically detect settings. This works fine and there are no problems but I could do with knowing exactly what settings it has automatically detected, because..... I've also got SpyBot and Ad-Aware installed and they can't get the latest updates without knowing what the proxy settings are.

Any suggestions (apart from ringing the helpdesk as its a foreign company and I'm not too clever with their language)?

Thanks.

If it's not actually specified, it's very likely that there either is is no proxy server or all outbound connections on your network go through a transparent proxy. In either case, as far as IE's concerned it doesn't really matter. Try turning off the 'automatically detect' option & see if there's any difference in your browsing.
