IE opens a generic search page

At our school, just started this morning... all of our Windows 2000 computers are having the same problem. When on the internet and goto yahoo or googles search page a generic search page shows, not the correct page. also some other sites you go to will show this generic search page. We have a windows 2000 server and norton antivirus is upto date. our internet does not go through the windows 2000. The windows 98 computers work correctly and our macs.

Does anyone have any ideas....
