IE only prints one page

This has been a recurring problem on random computers on my network, and I can’t figure out why. Hopefully somebody can shed some light on this for me.
Background info:
I set up all of the PCs from the same image, so all hardware & software configurations are identical. P4, Windows 2000, 512MB RAM, Office XP, IE 6… all latest patches, service packs installed.
Network Printers: HP LaserJet 4100 PCL 6
Problem:
Every now and then, on certain PCs, only one page at a time can be printed from Internet Explorer… then IE freezes. Other apps print fine, as do other PCs printing to the same printers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt it`s the printer driver if any other application prints fine, but you could try one of the beta drivers found here :
