I have WXP and v6 of the two programs. I have another computer with W98SE and v6. Both have SP1 updates. The XP version has the following two features that the W98 versions don't have. A third computer with W2K and V5 doesn't have the 'features' either.

1) If I choose to send an email from IE containing the link to the page I'm viewing, the subject of the new email is the file name - rather than the page title as in the other two examples. I'd rather have the page title - it's much more descriptive.

2) When the email is construction by IE, it contains the words "Your files are attached and ready to send with this message." I'd rather not have this because it means nothing to the person I'm sending to, and I really don't want to delete it all the time.

Thanks for your help.

Details about the email linking problem can be found here as well as a vb fix:

Search the page for "Your files are attached" and you'll find it easily.

However, this doesn't fix the problem of that annoying message appearing when you try to right click and "Send to" "Mail Recipient" regular files. I have to send files to clients every day and account executives are irked by this message since it may confuse PC neophytes (clients with no PC knowledge).

I tried to find that phrase in the registry itself to edit it, but I could not. I also tried searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base to no avail. Anyone with a fix would be mightily appreciated.

I am a creature of habit, so clicking the paperclip icon in a New Mail message is just not an option! :p
