Hello,

I have a problem that has been haunting me for weeks now -
I have an Access Database that is run from the web.

When the user clicks on the link to the database from internet explorer 6.0 and is using windows xp or windows 2000, nothing happens. I check the task manager and it is running there, but does not show up on the screen.

It does work properly when the user is using windows nt.
I created the database and compiled it using windows nt.
I do not know if that makes a difference.

I have checked properties in IE to no avail between my computer (nt) and someone using 2000 and xp.

Any possible solutions would be appreciated!

THANKS

Have you created the necessary server scripts to communicate with the database? Remember, web pages are "static" in that they do not maintain a connection to the web server so every action taken on the web page interface must be transmitted to the application by either clciking on a button/link or creating some javascript code that can react to specifi events on the interface page.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
