IE Lock up 1

I upgraded to 2000 2 months ago. Lately, my PC frequently locks up while in IE 5.5. This useally seems to happen when I use the mouse 'wheel' to scroll up and down pages.

Any ideas on what I need to do to correct this?

I have a wheel mouse also and had a similar problem.
I just re-installed the wheel mouse and it fixed.

Well I have the Microsoft Intellipoint and it came with software and disc.

I just went to Control Panel >Add/Remove Programs and then removed it and then installed it again.

It's only a hunch but I think when you upgraded your operating system, it may have conflicted or corrupted your mouse.
