Here we go again[hairpull3]

With the latest load I get the error:

You must access this application with:
1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
2. Mozilla Firefox, version 17 or later.

My I.E. is ver 9 and compatibility mode makes no difference.

My Mozilla works however.

Spoke too soon, Mozilla doesn't list the forms on the left side.

I've cleared my cache.

Rel 12 is supposed to be compatible with newer IE, Chrome and Firefox

I have had the same issue with clearing the cache as well
Also on IE 10 I have found that you need to turn off Phishing filters in the address field (Blue no entry symbol)

I got one of my coworkers to try his laptop and he connected without issues.

Something on mine is very unhappy with this specific load.

If I figure out what it is, I'll update.

Compare all of your settings (firewall, pop-up blocker, IE settings, etc.) with your buddies. Something is most likely different.

Nope, I do this a lot so I'm quite familiar with the usual tricks.

Additionally, when I got back to the controller, my laptop worked without any changes

I've seen this error twice now and both times at the same load. The first time was on a site with 8 clustered 3300's and the only one that gave this error was the new one.

I run into this all the time after an upgrade. If you have the site in your trusted sites you must remove it. Also make sure that compatibility mode is off for the site. Clear your browser cache and restart IE. The site should (in theory) come up now. It may not. Re-add the site to your trusted sites. Close IE again and restart it.

I use wildcards in my trusted sites e.g. 192.168.*.*, 10.*.*.* and 172.*.*.*

I've never come across an issue where I've had to remove these.

It is interesting to know that you guys use 'Trusted sites' for each MCD instance.
I always use 'Local Intranet' and have never really had any issues on my own PC.
Customers who have had issues have had the MCD sites in either 'Internet' or 'Trusted' I just move the MCD to Intranet all all errors go away.
I think the 'Trusted sites' advice came about with SDS and passthru, however Intranet also works with Passthru.

Agree with Supernova,

Intranet has even less security than Trusted Sites. I have only just started doing this.
Even with trusted sites you have to customize some options to allow things to work properly (like prompting to download files)
