IE homepage

I am running IE with XP Home Edition. I set up the home page but it will not stay. Home page reverts to
"res://gpsbm.dll/index.html#1093870917" each time. At first I could set up a home page on IE and it would stay then each time computer was rebooted it would go back to above page and now it only goes to above page.
How can I get rid of the above page from coming up each time I go into IE?

Sounds like something is intercepting your browser. Run the standard ad / spy detectors.
