Hi people
Im always the first to try and help myself first but after two days I need a little help!

I have the 'CWS.Affiliate Winshow' hijacking my IE. After reading similar posts online, I've used CWS shredder, then spybot and then adaware (in that order.) also used hijack this to remove any final entries that shouldnt be there. But everytime I re-boot it returns. Tried running hijack this first, to remove the files but, once again they return on re-boot.

I must be missing something.

If anyone has a spare minute or two to read my Hijack log, and see if Im missing any thing - that would be great.

I know I need to get rid of the mshp.dll, but that returns each time

Thanks in advance
Matt

Did you disable System Restore? It seems you need to turn it off, reboot, then run your cleaners in order to remove some of these nasties (otherwise System Restore kindly replaces those missing files you 'accidentally deleted' for you).

Thanks guys - both posts very helpful!

managed to take the entries out OK.

Also, I found that I had a restore point prior to infection - managed to use this to let me boot without loading the mshp.dll so that I could delete them.

Thanks again!

Matt
