For a few weeks, my version XPpro IE has been doing something funny.

It seems to be not loading frames on some screens.

And example is
The top and side bars load, and the main area loads, flashes on and then immediately off again, and refresh just flashes it on and off again.

I've got content control off, privacy and security both low.

Any ideas?

If you have the Favorites or Search sidebar open, close them and try it again.

I never have either open - even with a pretty big screen I find they interfere.

Sorry.

Any more suggestions? This is really buggin' me!

The page is written in javascript. In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, make sure under the MS Java VM section that only the JIT option is checked. If you have the Sun JVM installed, it should be checked as well.

Hmmmf

I haven't even GOT the MS Java VM section - let alone the Sun JVM.

I can't understand where the f it's gone.
And it's seeming pretty hard to find lookin' about for it on the net.
