IE freezes when typing data in forms or text fields

COuld you please tell me why this happens

Looks like a reinstall is in order. But if you have IE 5.01 or newer you could try the repair feature and see if that fixes it. Click start--programs--accessories--system tools--system information--it's under the tools menu there.
