IE flashes on start

I am running VI 6.0 with SP5. I also have IE 6.0.

I didn't use to have a problem but now when I have one or more instances of IE running and right click in VI and choose "View in Browser" the new browser starts but the others and it start flashing in the task bar.

I usually have to maximize and then minimize each instance before they start to operate properly.

If there are no other instances of IE running then everything seems ok.

Any ideas of why this is happening?

now that happens because when there are no IE windows already open VI opens a new one. but when there is already a window open it tries to load ur page in one of the opened window. and "flashing" is a windows feature wherein when a minimised window has completed its task it flashes saying that it has completed the work...
