IE Explorer 7.0 hangs needs reboot.

I am having a problem with IE Explorer on a particular machine. Every so often Explorer hangs and the only alternative is to reboot the PC as the whole machine is unresponsive. Any ideas what it could be?

Now that you mention it, it may. I recommended to him the possibility of it being add-ons. It is such a random occurence and hard to find a solution to this problem.
