for about a week now, when I try to navigate past the home page of EBay, I get a "Web Page Not Found" error. Has there been a recent update to IE that might have caused this? Does anyone have any idea on how to get past this?

No, I have not tried another browser. I get this error as soon as I enter my login data, or if I try a search.

BTW, I got the same error when I posted this on the wrong forum, someone replied, then the post was deleted, and I clicked on the link in the e-mail sent automatically in response to the reply.

I will see if I can get a different browser from my son.

Webrabbit,
Just as a precaution I would run Malwarebytes anti malware software to make sure you haven't got gremlins in the system. I don't like the way it seems to click in when you try to login. Do you have any idea of the URL that is being disallowed?

Yes, it crashes when I try to login, but if I click the "Keep me logged in" box, then I go back to EBay, I'm logged in. But if I try to go to any other page, it crashes, just like the first time on the login page.

I have Norton security, came with the computer.

Norton is ok (is it up to date?), but it doesn't find all Malware etc. To be honest none of them do. Malwarebytes is the one I've found that gets rid of most keyloggers and the like. It's free and is worth running just to be sure.

I do keep Norton up to date (Rather, I let it keep itself up to date). But the problem has been resolved, I guess Meg told someone to do it.
