IE (Display Mixed Content)

I have Windows XP w/ SP2 and IE 6. I recently installed KB912812 on my computer with Windows Update. Now when I view a site with secure and nonsecure items I get a pop up message everytime stating that the "page contains secure and nonsecure item, do I want to display the nonsecure item?" I tried to turn this feature off by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Internet -> Custom Level -> Display mixed content. The default setting is at Prompt and I change it to Enable but it is still prompting me everytime. I have restarted IE and restarted Windows and still get the same pop up message even though it is set to Enable. If I uninstall KB912812 than the problem goes away. Please help.
