IE custom scroll bar - - anyone know how to implement?

I know how to make custom scroll bars for Netscape, but can't do it in IE. Can anyone help? My need: use drag-drop custom designed scroll bar in IE 4+. To do this I will need to do one of the following, neither of which I can find out how to do: 1) read the height of a layer containing html text; 2) read the total height of an html page (not a positioned element) containing text.

Can anyone help?

is one of the best dhtml programmers around, and has a Dynapi(dan steinman's dynamic html api) distribution which supports all kinds of things including drag and drop...also to find the height of a page in IE use document.body.offsetHeight... jared@aauser.com
