IE closing all windows on submit?!?!

Maybe this is the better forum.....
Something is dreadfully wrong on my MSIE. When I go to post or search for something, as soon as I hit submit, all IE windows close down. Its strange because on a small number of sites it lets it work sometimes, but on every thing else it just shuts down! I've run adaware, pestpatrol, bazooka....etc...and still nothing. Does it have something to do with the method in which it is using to post? For the life of me I can't figure it out>! Anyone else ever heard or seen such a thing?

Are you using a touch screen or virtual keyboard?

No...nothing of the sort..:-(
And I've since installed MYIE to see if it worked with that.... and it did.....and then all of a sudden it did the same thing that IE was doing....so I'm debating tossing my computer out the window....... Or banging my head into it...one of the two...

Help me out here a bit. You mean posting a reply or new topic in a web-based forum such as this one? Or is this a NNTP newsgroup? or a site that requires form data?

Have you looked at your Event Viewer to see if there is a message indicating and error?

What version of IE, what version of Windows?
