Hi everyone
This is weird, I've just done a clean install of W2K3 SBS, all went great. Internet explorer worked fine.
Then I set up my VPN and logged in to the system remotely, that worked fine.
But then for some reason IE refused to work and I can't access my companyweb site. However while the server is booting up before security settings are applied, you can briefly access the companyweb.
I went through all the Domain Controller Security Settings, but can't see any setting which would deny Internet access.
My system, Compaq DL380, 2 Nics, 1st nick 192.168.0.x, D.G.192.168.0.1(Router) DNS as supplied by ISP.
The Router is a Netgear DG834G, Firewall settings have been set to pass all traffic such as VPN, IE, FTP to the server NIC address.
Also I can see other computers on my network and access them, but when I try and PING them or the router, they are 'unreachable"
Any thoughts
Cheers
Phil
I'm studying hard every day, so why is the learning curve appear to be heading downwards?
