Hi
I am developing a web based application that is designed to run on IE 5.5+ as the client.
What I want to do is optimise the speed of the client, and the best bet there seems to be making sure caching is done as well as possible. Being an application, and not a web site, I would like the client (IE) to cache all pages and images indefinately, as the page content, images etc do not change often (only when I do an upgrage of the system). Obviously the data on the forms does change.
Does anyone know what the default caching policy of IE is, and how it can be manipulated? What is the best way to achieve this?
Thanks all.
Cheers,
Richard
