We have three terminal servers, deploying desktops to users on thin client terminals with Citrix.
All users have roaming profiles.
We are giving users Internet Explorer access, but want to lock down the browser history so users know we can review it at will.
We've used AD group policies to set browsing history to 20 days, and to lock it out so they can't change it, nor can users delete the browser history. Also, shut off the "delete browser history at logout" thing, too. This is all working.
However, when they log off, then back on, the history is gone. Vendor is telling me that the browser history is not saved into the roaming Profiles directory on the AD controller.
Can this be true? Is there no way that a person on a thin client can retain their IE browser history?
