IE and MSN.com

I have winXP Pro and use IE6 (although I use FF more often), but lately everytime I open IE and my default page loads (which is hotmail.com) IE always crashes. Any ideas why? Why can't a MS product work on its own services??

Do you have any toolbars like google, yahoo, etc? If so, try uninstalling one of them.

Or, try upgrading to the IE 7 Beta 3. It's gotten pretty good reviews.

Nope, no toolbars. I'm trying NOT to upgrade to beta version. This started happening recently, which makes me think maybe MS added some code on msn.com or hotmail.com to make the browser crash.

This is typicall when code for ads are added.

IE and MSN work for me. Try resetting your homepage to another site and see if that works.
