IE 9 or IE 7 1

I have IE9 loaded why are web sites tell me I have IE 7. I did a regedit and there is no MSIE 7.

What is telling these Websites I have IE 7.

Ive seen instances of various windows compenents showing different versions. Still have not found out why.

I ran fiddlertool and this is what it shows.

I looked at the registry and found some MSIE 7.0. Changed them based on what fiddlertool suggested (Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

I'm still getting messages when I go to a website (e.golf channel) and it tells me I'm using and old IE 7.0 and I need to update.

Its fixed....

The display all websites in compatibility view box was checked.
Remove check and remove problem.
