IE 7 not opening link

I was wondering if anyone experienced the same problem, i have a dynamic text box that formats values in html from a database. On of the values is a url address on the same site the swf file resides. When you click to open a new window it doesn't work, although it does in other browsers and ie6-

getURL() works fine in IE7 for me - it opens new window with "_blank" parameter. (You can also set it to open in a new tab, just like in Firefox.) It's probably the usual local security issue.

Ok i finally figured it out, I had main.swf which help part1.swf, which called in the recordset. On part1.swf i had to change the flash type in the embed string to be 3 instead of the publish type of 6. i still have publish type of 6 stipulated in the main.swf. When i change part1 to 3 it worked, and does so in all browsers, strange.
