IE 7, How to view full screen icon & other icons?

I have enabled the full screen icon option, but I can't find a way to view it with various toolbars. Even some Microsoft MVP's have been stuck. Any help - thanks.

Dave

Currently, there are known toolbar issues when using IE7 in full screen mode. These probably won't be fixed until the next patch but please describe exactly which toolbars you're referring to, if autohide is enabled & a link to your previous newsgroup discussion so that we don't duplicate efforts that have already been done.

I am not in full screen mode. I want to use the icon to get to full screen mode. Or use other icons, which I can not see such as STOP. How do I view them and then I can use them.

Thanks, Dave

Oh, so you simply want IE to open maximized (or nearly so) when you first open IE? If so, with only 1 IE window open, just drag the edges to be as large as you like (don't use the maximize button). Close IE & it should stay.

"Stop" is the red X in between the address bar & the search bar, next to the refresh/go button.

smah - No. I don't understand you or maybe vs versa. Like IE6 - there is a Full Screen Icon. How do I click on it in IE7 - I can't even see it?

HERE IT IS - GADS THIS IS HARD TO FIND. YOU HAVE TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO ASK THE QUESTION IN ORDER TO FIND THE DAMN ANSWER.

Full screen" for IE is what you see when you press the F11 key.
"Maximized" is when the reqular IE window fills the entire monitor space. It is activated using the button near the top right, between minimize & close.

So you simply wanted to make the command bar icons larger or am I misunderstanding? This had nothing to do with the actual size of the IE window?

smah - I figured it out. thanks anyway. Dave
