IE 7 has blank white page

Everything I try and browse only shows a blank white page. I've tried starting it without any add-ons, I've tried the reset (won't reset keeps saying I have to close down all apps and had nothing open). My IE crashed and when it rebooted, when through checkdsk, then a blue screen, then it recovered. Everything else works except IE 7. I'm now using Firefox, but some pages I have to use IE. I'm using Vista sp1.

Any suggestions?

Follow the links in this thread thread608-809805 Re-register the important IE dll's as mentioned.

I'm running IE 7 on Vista. Nothing happens if I use escape or F5. I have a completely blank white page and nothing shows on any webpage.

So, does this answer mean that you did not attempt to re-register those dll's?
