Internet explorer automatically refreshes causing you lose form content.

My users use web based programs where they input data in forms in internet explorer... a couple of them are complaining that the page refreshes every couple minutes causing them to have to start all over.

Any ideas?

IE version is 7, Win XP.

Where does the auto-refresh come from? From the page or from the browser?

Cheers,
Dian

It seems to be the browser... as it happens in whatever their working in.

We use Focus XP and Decision App credit union software and it happens in both of them... which are web based.

I have other users that aren't having this problem with the same browser version.

It is probably an add-on that has been installed. Test by running IE in no add-ons mode on the problem machines --> Start, Run, iexplore.exe /extoff, OK or Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Internet Explorer (no add ons)
