IE 7.0 and Crystal 7 viewer problem

I have upgraded my Internet Explorer to 7.0 and my Crystal Viewers stopped working. I can nolonger view Crystal Reports using Internet Explorer.

Any ideas about upgrading my viewers with out upgrading Crystal 7?

Not too surprising there, you're using software that is > 5 years old, you shouldn't expect to be able to update your OS or anything else until you upgrade Crystal.

There are 3rd party viewers that might work for you depending upon your use of Crystal:

Well thats the obviouse answer and we already know that. However, its been our experience that the more we think outside the box, the more we are able to develope what we need. This is a mear bump in the road.

If you already knew of the 3rd party viewers, then why not use them?

As for obvious, nothing posted here should be considered obvious, for instance your post lacks how you are using the viewers, which is of course key to the solution.

As for thinking outside the box, that tends to be an age old cliche bandied about by developers who would rather spend much more in development and support of code than to just buy a canned solution.

I suppose if you're working for minimukm wage, development time doesn't mean anything, but the cost of upgrading is generally far less than supporting out of date products.
